Monocure 3D RAPID photo-reactive clear resin has been designed to use in low powered LED type DLP 3D Printers for UV wavelengths up to 420nm. The transparent appearance allows you to see internal features that would be useful for research, prototyping and engineering parts.

All Monocure 3D resins have a very wide range of reactivity, UV wavelengths of 225nm to wavelengths of 420nm. By incorporating a blend of photo-initiators, monomers & sensitizers, almost any UV light source can be used to initiate the polymerisation process of our resins.

Monocure 3D resins have been tested with a ‘Shore D Hardness Durometer’ and have a rating of 70. (A hard hat has a rating of 80)

All our resins have a low odour, have zero VOC emissions and display very low shrinkage properties <0.5%>

MONOCURE 3D RAPID FLEX100 – 1L. RESIN (Click to see product)

Rapid FLEX100™ is a resin for low powered LED/LCD DLP type 3D printers. The FLEX100 ™ has an extremely high level of flexibility so you can 3D print compressible and bendable models. The thicker the part, the less flexible it will become. The clear appearance allows you to see internal structures when 3D printed.

How will I use it?

FLEX100 ™ can be used on its own or by mixing with our Rapid colour range to produce varying degrees of flexibility and firmness. By adding a small amount of FLEX100™ to the Rapid resin would create a less brittle and more durable part. By adding larger amounts, the more flexible it will become. Please ensure that you weigh the products so results can be replicated. CMYK pigment set can be used to obtain the required colours you desire. It’s always important to follow the safety and technical information before use.

Monocure 3D CMYK Pigment setis intended for use with Monocure 3D resin so custom colours can be created to suit individual needs. These pigment dispersions are designed to work with 3D printing applications where UV light is used to cure resin layer by layer.

How will I use it?

Shake well before each use. Slowly drip the pigment solution into Monocure 3D resin and mix well until desired colour is reached. To obtain the same colour density of our pigmented Rapid Resin, you will need to add approximately 4mlof the pigment dispersion. Adding too much pigment can result in slower curing times and potentially inhibit the cure completely.

The pigment solution can be added to our white resin or clear depending on the finish you are after. When adding to the white base resin an opaque finish will result. If you add to the clear resin a transparent look will result. The more pigment you add, the more solid the colour will become.

Please be extremely cautious when handling the pigments as they will stain very easily.

PLATEBOND – ADHESION PROMOTOR (30ML) (Click to see product)

Monocure 3D PLATEBOND™ is a UV cured build plate adhesion promoter. It is designed to help 3D printed resin parts adhere to the build plate. This can be used in conjunction with Monocure 3D resin or with other photopolymer resin systems. This product is designed to work with 3D printing applications where UV light is used to cure resin layer by layer.

How will I use it?

Open the twist top dispenser and squeeze a small line of PLATEBOND™ across one end of the build plate. Use a gloved finger, paint scraper or spatula to smear the product across the entire build-plate surface. The PLATEBOND™ will combine with the first two base layers of resin and help the 3D model adhere to the build plate thanks to the advanced formulation. The printed part can be removed from the build plate with your normal, preferred method. This product is safe to use and highly recommended before every print. It’s always important to follow the safety and technical information before use.

Monocure 3D RESINAWAY® is a non-flammable, safe, highly advanced UV resin cleaning solution. It is chemically engineered to quickly & effectively remove any uncured UV photopolymer resin from printed parts without unwanted surface cracks, cloudiness or white residue. It is a perfect cleaner for build plates, vats, instruments & surfaces.

It is safer, quicker, more effective and longer lasting than Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA).

How will I use it?

Use this cleaning agent as is, do not dilute with water. For best results, start with a “pre-wash” of RESINAWAY in a separate container to remove excess resin using a soft brush to assist. Then place the object into an ultrasonic cleaning bath. Keep printed objects submerged in RESINAWAY until the uncured resin has been removed. Once clear of resin, remove the object from bath, use compressed air to remove excess liquid, otherwise pat dry with a lint-free cloth. Then post-cure the part using a recommended LED 405nm light until the surface is tack free (approx. 5 mins at 30 watts). The final process is to rinse under running tap water. For cleaning vats, build plates, instruments & surfaces, rinse/soak/wipe with RESINAWAY then wash with fresh water.
